**Must-Haves**:

- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support, or Mental Health.
- NDIS Workers Screening Card.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Current Australian QLD Driver’s Licence.
- Own reliable car with current registration and comprehensive insurance.
- Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fostering meaningful community engagement.
- Being an active and energetic person who loves to engage with others.
- Talking and listening to clients to provide emotional support.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide domestic assistance such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
- Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity while performing daily tasks.
- Work flexibly across a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts, to meet the needs of clients.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date with protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
- Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.
- Forming strong and trusting relationships with clients.

**Desirable**:

- Additional certifications or higher education in mental health or disability are highly regarded.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.76 - $57.17 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
