The purpose-built Inclusive Education Centre (IEC) is a learning environment that caters for 60 students with varying levels of intellectual disabilities and other additional needs across years 7-12. Our highly dedicated teachers provide personalised learning for every child within a diverse curriculum, preparing them for independent life beyond school. Offsite special programs focus on transferable knowledge and new skills to compliment school-based learning including water safety, transport, special Olympics, and basketball.

We are seeking a relationship focused consultative leader with significant inclusive education experience. As a pivotal member of the CBHS leadership team, the position provides connection to other aspects of our school through a lens of inclusion and builds capacity to create inclusive learning environments and improve student learning outcomes.

Providing leadership of the Inclusive Education Program and the team of people involved is a challenging and rewarding leadership role. You will have oversight of engaging with parents, care givers and agencies to optimise the learning and well-being outcomes for students with complex needs.
