Our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services has an opportunity for **Store person **to join the team supporting the Australian National University (Acton, ACT) contract.

The Store person will provide support to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for maintain stock order levels, maintain and organise workshops/storage areas, take delivery of and pick up goods as required, so a current open driver’s licence is required. You will also undertake workplace inspections, obtain quotes, manage stock lead times, back orders and be the main point of contact for order queries, and undertake other responsibilities as directed, whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy.

The role involves liaising with the in-house trade’s team and various vendors in the delivery of parts/stock and provide support to the project and life-cycle teams. The Store Person will need to work autonomously, independently, and at times, in isolation.

**Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Providing ongoing support and assistance to the operations by the effective management of stock levels and procurement
- Ensuring workshops/storage areas are maintained and inspected on a regular basis
- Ensure goods are delivered within time frames and receipted/inspected
- Maintain a stock inventory system
- Act as a point of contact for the Internal Trades team and Vendors with stock queries
- Assisting the Service Delivery team in ensuring goods/stock is available for job completion within KPIs
- Ensuring timely escalation of issues or potential KPI risks to the Service Delivery Manager

- Experience in Procurement and Stock Maintenance
- Qualification in Procurement/Purchasing or similar industry experience
- Experience in support maintenance teams or similar
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Strong organisational, time task and priority management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, while appreciating different and opposing perspectives
- Ability to hold and maintain a Working with Vulnerable People card
- Must hold a current driver licence

This role will need you to demonstrate an ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment and perform consistently during peak times and when under pressure.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience with Purchasing Systems (Coupa, SAP)
