**Your Hotel - Ovolo The Valley**

Welcome to your Whimsical Oasis.

Situated in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley lies Ovolo the Valley. Inspired by the eclectic culture and iconic history of the surrounding neighbourhood, Ovolo the Valley draws guests into a whimsical oasis of colour and art, with surprising hints of quirkiness, custom wallpaper, eccentric furniture, and illustrations curated throughout all its spaces. Designed for effortless living, Ovolo the Valley features 103 guest rooms, Tel Aviv-inspired Restaurant ZA ZA TA and bar KAZBA, multiple event spaces, and a rooftop pool.

**The Gig**

As our **Maintenance Supervisor** (Mint-Condition Guru), you’ll be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our spaces that are filled with vibrant interiors, eye-catching artwork, and other mechanical things at work behind the scenes. You will work independently, along with department managers to ensure the hotel is in top shape. This is a **Full-Time** role and will require flexibility within your availability. Your responsibilities will include:

- Consistency in use of tools and equipment.
- Previous Hotel Maintenance, engineering, building safety experience.
- HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge.
- Converse, socialise, and engage. It's a must. With customers and Team Members.
- Acting fast in response to emergency situations.
- Managing multiple tasks all of the time.
- Flexibility to work on weekends required.
- Based at the Valley but happy to give assistance to our sister property where required.
- This is a busy hands-on role that requires a motivated can-do person with great time management skills and a desire to make the property the best it can be You must have at least 2 years' experience in a Hotel Maintenance Supervisor role.
- Experience in Hospitality accounts is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.

You will have great interpersonal skills which will allow you to build relationships with other departments, contractors and third parties. You will also bring knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. You won't be afraid to get your hands dirty, and you will drive through your daily tasks with great enthusiasm
