**About the Role**
- The successful applicant will provide a specialised neuropsychology consultancy service to HNELHD Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services (DACs) through district-wide training, clinical support and consultation to staff.
- In addition to this, the clinical neuropsychologist in this role provides high quality, client-focussed, evidence-based neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention to clients involved in DACS programs.
- The successful applicant will be professional and have a strong understanding of legal and ethical boundaries.
- You will have strong communication skills and a passion for patient centred care. A willingness to travel to provide outreach services is also required for this position.
- This position is primarily supported by the General Manager of HNELHD DACS, with the Allied Health Lead as additional support for this role.

**Where you'll be working**
- The Neuropsychology Service is based in the Hunter New England area at James Fletcher Hospital, Newcastle.
- We are a part of the wider Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services team and provide outreach services as required across HNELHD district.

- This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
