**Medical Receptionist**

**NOWRA**

We are looking for an experienced and warm person who is a team player to join our team. Must have an eye for detail, be organised with a proven ability to multi-task on demand.

You will be performing receptionist duties whilst being respectful, confident, trustworthy, committed and caring. Ability to establish great working relationships with doctors and team members. Must have a strong ability to listen, manage and exceed patients’ expectations This is a position will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. No weekend work required.

The Medical Receptionist will report directly to the Practice Manager and will be responsible for patient relationships, administrative and reception duties which will include:

- General administration and reception duties Greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner
- Taking an interest in patients as individuals
- Maintaining medical records
- Billings and invoices
- Managing appointments and communicating relevant information to patients, GPs and other health professionals

**Successful applicants must**:

- Have previous receptionist experience
- Have ability to multi-tasking on demand
- Be willing to go beyond and above the call of duty
- Be passionate about patients and serving them
- Be accountable and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Be a strong team player
- Have the ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Supportive of doctors and their administrative needs
- Be presentable and approachable
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Have the ability to be proactive in problem solving
- Manage schedules and people
- Knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage but not essential
- Fully COVID vaccinated in line with the current NSW Health Order

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nowra, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
