Our client, a leading not for profit organisation in Gippsland, has an opening for an experienced executive to lead the business in 2024. Based in Morwell, you will be responsible leading a passionate team in their vision of creating an Australia free of suicide.

**Some your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide strategic leadership to ensure an effective and sustainable organisation.
- Demonstrate strong, focused and nurturing leadership of management, employees and volunteers.
- Maintain an appropriate organisational structure through effective leadership, recruitment and cultural excellence built on safety, inclusion, openness, collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure prudent and effective financial management in compliance with Board and legal requirements.
- Provide sound management of company assets.
- Sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including but not restricted to community leaders, organisations, funding bodies and government agencies.
- Ensure risk management systems, monitoring, and timely reporting processes are in place to meet regulatory compliance, legislative and contractual requirements.

**You will demonstrate**:

- **A degree in social work, psychology, business, or another related field, ideally with a knowledge of mental health interventions and approaches.**:

- Demonstrated success in an executive or senior leadership role (ideally within a not-for-profit organisation), practiced at leading teams to achieve results through continuous improvement and embedding a culture of success.
- Sound knowledge of legislative compliance and governance principles.
- Sound financial management skills, including the development and implementation of budgets and budgetary controls.
- Demonstrated understanding of the service system and capacity for innovation in responding to community need.

**Mandatory**:

- A clear police check
- Current full Victorian Drivers Licence
