Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager? We have a new vacancy for a Maintenance Manager to join our team in Cooma.

Join Monbeef, part of the Bindaree Food Group, as our Maintenance Manager based in the scenic town of Cooma, NSW at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. With relocation support available, you can enjoy a relaxed pace of life, outdoor recreational activities, and a strong sense of community, all while advancing your career with a reputable company.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible leading the maintenance team, planning, and coordinating all maintenance aspects to ensure the efficient performance of our Cooma Processing Facility. You will also spend time planning, drawing plans and on refrigeration.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Efficiently delivering expectations of safety, reliability, and compliance.
- Overseeing and managing service and repairs and ensuring there is always stock on hand.
- Owning the operation of production on site.
- Reducing the amount of down time in production.
- Being the first point of contact and leading and supporting the maintenance team.
- You will be the point of contact for external suppliers and contractors.
- You’ve worked in a production / manufacturing facility, ideally within meat processing.
- You can plan and manage reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- You have a strong background in electrical, hydraulics and mechanical.
- You have ability to lead a team and drive performance and accountability.
- You have a commitment to safety first.
- People describe you as organised and you’re driven to get things done.
