We currently have an opportunity for a Social Infrastructure Planner to join the team in our Planning And Economic Development Team. As Social Infrastructure Planner, you'll get to provide specialist statutory and strategic planning services to the Community, Councillors, Customers and Council.
- Annual salary from $84,078 to $99,678 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- plus 11% superannuation
- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week (A job share arrangement will be considered for this role - if applicable)

**What you'll need to be successful in the role...**
- Undergraduate degree in Town Planning/Engineering/Financial Management equivalent Degree or extensive experience in a similar role.
- Detailed knowledge of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act as it relates to development contributions and community infrastructure provision.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and administer Development Contribution plans and supporting documentation in accordance with all statutory requirements and current best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and negotiate Voluntary Planning Agreements
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- High level interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
