**Overview**

The Manager, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Programs is responsible for the provision of high-level strategic program and policy advice to the Director, Population Health and Strategy and the State Director and provides leadership and manages the program functions of the AOD Programs area of DASSA.

The Manager, AOD Programs is responsible for the establishment and implementation of evidence informed drug related programs, consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the Department and Government, and significantly contributes to the promotion and provision of effective leadership, vision and strategic initiatives to ensure DASSA delivers valued and quality programs and services.

**Criminal History Screening Requirement**:

- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (general employment)

**Immunisation Risk for this position is** - Category C (mínimal patient contact)

COVID-19 vaccination may be an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
