We are looking for a **Planning Lead** to join our Global Projects team based in Brisbane.

This role will involve leading and proving planning / scheduling for FS and execution phases. It includes the development of schedules to support the project with interactive planning to ensure staging of activities.

With varied engineering, procurement and construction options, your skilled guidance in influencing project plan execution is crucial to the delivery of sustainable and successful outcomes for our clients.

**About the role**
- Establish and manage the project schedule for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
- Prepare and maintain the project Basis of Schedule.
- Facilitate IPS’s (Interactive Planning Sessions) for the project, leading sessions with discipline leads, vendors and third parties, collecting progress data and organising into logical forms.
- Ensure the project schedule activities are coded by the project work breakdown structure and interface to the controls systems for progress / forecast updates and analysis.
- Establish the project critical path and continue to analyse and report throughout the project. Incorporate any required scope changes and trends into project schedule.
- Prepare selected project documentation related to project planning and monitoring. Provide client and internal bi-weekly/monthly reporting inputs of plan vs actual and any forecast mitigation strategies.
- Comply with relevant Ausenco policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks

**About You**
- A minimum of 10 -15 years’ experience in project control, cost control and scheduling in the field of engineering and construction within minerals and metals in an EPC/EPCM environment.
- Proficient knowledge of scheduling software - Primavera P6 & MS Project. P6 certification would be highly regarded
- Familiarity with cost control databases (PRISM Ecosys).
- An engineering degree or equivalent is desirable
- Prior leadership, mentorship or coaching experience is desirable
