Our client is a global fund manager which is experiencing a period of growth and transformation.
They are currently needing an experienced Implementation Analyst for the Operations team and support the growth of the business by continuing to support, cultivate, and advance client operations.
The Implementation team has responsibility for the successful implementation of the new product uptake, restructures, closures, complex transitions or operating model changes across Operations.
The role will work closely with team members and key stakeholders to ensure that there is consistency and best in class implementation across all products with the objective of seamless integration resulting in positive client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Unlisted assets (e.g. Infrastructure, Property Funds et al), well rounded knowledge of Unlisted Accounting structures and mechanics to drive team’s consistency of approach and best in class knowledge capture;
- Proficient in Operational review of legal documents (Trust Deeds, Side Letters, Subscription Agreements et al) to ensure Investment Operational components are captured in line with intended methodologies, models and mechanics;
- Ensure appropriate levels of governance are applied to all implementation activities;
- Facilitate information provision to stakeholders to help ensure no additional risk to Implementation process;
- Liaise with and co-ordinate custodians, investment managers and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely completion of Investor transitions and restructures;
- Engage in stakeholder discussion, communication and relationships management activities as required to understand client needs; and
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/ Finance/ Accounting, English Literature or related background;
- Ideally 3 years of relevant experience;
- Must be a team player with effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Ability to work independently with some guidance, as well as work effectively with other departments within the firm;
- Dealing with large amounts of information with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies;
- Working within tight deadlines while fostering good relationships with various areas of the business, clients and consultants;
- Highly organised and structured with outstanding written and verbal communication skills; AND
- Excellent at using MS Office suite & Outlook Suite.
