**The Opportunity**

TAFE NSW is looking for creative and inspired individuals who wish to be considered for casual teaching opportunities within the Creative Design and Ideation Fashion team at Ultimo campus, Sydney. As a teacher you will be responsible for constructing, guiding and enhancing the educational process, delivering educational programs, collaborating with a team of trainers and facilitating learning to enable students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will be passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience in fashion, whether that be in fashion production, millinery, costume design or the business side of things such as buying and marketing.

You will have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and have demonstrated experience in delivering training including an online learning environment.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- Minimum Diploma in Fashion, Costume Design, Millinery, Fashion Business or related field
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- 3+ years post qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously in one of the following areas:

- Fashion Production
- Garment and/or Costume Construction
- Millinery
- Fashion Business/Buying/Marketing
- Fashion Design/Digital Design
- Digital/Manual Pattern Making
