We are searching for a pragmatic, commercially astute and analytical Demand Planner to lead the process across our diverse categories and multi-regional network. This position will collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement, and planning teams to consistently deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts with astute accuracy and effective stakeholder engagement.

**The role**
- Manage and coordinate the Demand Planning process and system for all regions and categories to ensure operational and financial delivery of requirements in line with region and functional plans.
- Collaborate with regions and functions to continually improve and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts that support Sales and Marketing plans and requirements ensuring best possible levels of forecast accuracy.
- Lead the coordination and management of monthly demand reviews with relevant Sales Leaders and Sales Analysts for retail and commercial channels of GALE Pacific.
- Review and analyse forecasts for accuracy and alignment and opportunities to improve in consultation with Supply Planner and Sales Leaders.
- Proactively highlight and addressing operational risks and issues that could affect the business performance in partnership with the broader Planning Team, and with global counterparts.
- Analyse and review data, processes, and systems to ensure continual improvement in the effectiveness of the Demand Planning function, working with IT and Supply Planner/s to implement system improvements.
- Support regional and global S&OP processes through sharing of production and capacity related information and issues, through presentation of Demand information to both Operational counterparts and Senior Management.
- Coordinate the data management (including supporting global counterparts in systems knowledge and troubleshooting) and reporting around inventory performance and associated KPI’s.
- Provide detailed reporting and visibility of information to the business in a regular, structured manner identifying KPI’s, risks and areas of improvement as part of the monthly S&OP process.
- Weekly/ Monthly review inventory levels versus targets for assigned portfolio. Develop and manage corrective action plans where inventory is not aligned with targets.
- Highly analytically minded and comfortable managing high volumes of data in various data formats and sources
- Commercially minded
- Capable of presenting and communicating information to individuals and groups
- Highly coordinated and comfortable managing deadlines
- Highly adaptable and able to build relationships across different regions and cultures, and across different levels of the business.
- Willing to connect with regions in APAC across differing time zones

**Technical Experience**:

- Recognised tertiary qualification in either supply chain and/or finance function preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG
- Minimum 3 years of Demand Planning experience
- Sales forecasting process and system development highly regarded
- Experienced working in a global organization across a variety of regions and cultures
- Experienced using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX12 experience preferred)
