**Role Summary**:
We are looking for two experienced Sustainable/Electrical Technicians to join our Gas Turbines and Distributed Generation (GTDG) based at our Cockburn Power Station on a full-time permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to carry out high level technical, commercial, and supervisory activities associated with the operation, maintenance, and development of Sustainable Plant.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Work closely with the Safety and Health team to provide input into all facets of Safety management.
- Take a lead role in the investigation of incidents ensuring effective actions are put into place to prevent recurrence.
- Supervise, monitor performance, coordinate, and check works carried out by staff, contractors, and consultants.
- Manage and report on progress of projects or outages in accordance with budget, to time targets whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Provide advice, make recommendations, and key decisions on the operations and maintenance requirements of diverse power generating and storage plant with respect to, electrical, C&I and Communications in conjunction with Engineers

**What you’ll bring**:

- Advanced TAFE certificate or a TAFE diploma in relevant discipline.
- A trade certificate in the relevant discipline.
- Permit to Work systems and HV switching
- Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical information.
