We are seeking a Freedom of Information **(**FOI**)** Officer to provide support for our Legal Department.
This is a Part Time **(0.6FTE)**, Fixed Term **(**March 2026)** position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Lead FOI, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Process requests for information/documents in accordance with the relevant Act which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Health Records Act
- Coroners Act
- Child Protection Act
- Privacy and Data Protection Act
- Crimes Act
- TAC Act
- Proficiently operate the Content Manager Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), Oracle, VACIS, Chris 21 and AV Event Registers
**About you**
To be considered for this position you will possess qualifications (diploma, degree, or industry certification) with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Other requirements include:
- Knowledge and understanding of the FOI Act and associated Professional Standards, _Privacy and Data Protection Act_ and _Health Records Act_
- Attention to detail using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded and provided accurately
- High level of personal integrity and professional conduct and the judgement and maturity to ensure matters of a confidential or sensitive nature are handled and dealt with appropriately and diplomatically in accordance with legal requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
