**Position Information**:
Eden Public School is situated on the far south coast of NSW. The school provides quality education, is committed to the pursuit of excellence and the provision of inclusive educational opportunities for all. Eden staff and community are committed to nurturing, guiding, inspiring and challenging students to find the joy in lifelong learning. Eden Public School has a current K-6 enrolment of 260 students. Enrolments include mainstream students, gifted and talented students, 27% First Nation students, as well as 25% students with learning disabilities and or learning adjustments, some of whom are supported within one of 3 support classes. The school has a strong partnership with the P&C, the local AECG and numerous other community-based groups. Eden Public School has an ongoing commitment to the development and delivery of quality teaching and learning programs, with an emphasis on improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for all students.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach learning and support (primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (primary) in mainstream classes, with the ability to engage students with additional educational needs or diagnosed disabilities through quality differentiation and adjustment of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Demonstrated exemplary classroom practice with the capacity to model and support the implementation of quality, evidence informed teaching and learning in literacy and numeracy and support school wide wellbeing programs through trauma-informed practices.
- Highly developed organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues, learning and support team, external agencies and parents/carers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal Education policy and Partnership Agreement to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal students.
