**Senior Dietitian - PREP**

**Parental Leave Cover - Fixed Term 22 April 2024 until 23 December 2024**

**Part Time 20 hours per fortnight**

Applications are being sought for a part time Eating Disorder Dietitian for the established PREP (Proactive Recovery Enhancement Program) - Eating Disorder Program at The Geelong Clinic. The program offers a diverse range of therapeutic approaches for patients who have commenced recovery from an Eating Disorder.

The dietitian is a key part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for providing dietetic guidelines to inpatients of The Geelong Clinic Hospital. The Dietitian will also work in a consultative manner with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide nutritional care and recovery support. The position also provides the opportunity to develop nutrition groups and supervision of shopping and cooking and meal outings. The role will be located in the Eating Disorder Unit with capacity to provide services to other inpatients at The Geelong Clinic.

The position also offers supportive management, supervision, professional development and parking. The Geelong Clinic is a 73 bed Psychiatric Hospital - that offers a range of inpatient, day programs and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Located on the outskirts of Geelong within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, the clinic has a number of accredited Psychiatrists supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team of nursing, allied health, administration and domestic services staff.

**Selection Criteria**
- **Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration in dietetics as recognised in Victoria and able to be meet the criteria for APD status.**:

- **ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian preferred****:

- **Minimum 5 years clinical experience ideally in the Eating Disorder area**:

- **Experience with group work and cooking programs well regarded**:

- **Mental Health experience well regarded**:

- **Good organisational and negotiation skills**:

- **Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment**
