You’ll become a valued part of the team and enjoy providing a superior level of service to your customers. **The role**
Perfect opportunity for a mechanically minded person with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. A real people person, you will love business development as well as being competent in the technical aspects of the role.
Manage a service vehicle attending hydraulic breakdowns and installations, plus regular service and sales visits
Provide high quality hose and fitting service to clients
Sales - proactively increase sales with business development of new and existing customers (no previous sales experience necessary)
Regular quotes and invoicing (using iPad), liaison with sales team etc
Work within a team supporting other technicians as required
Manage stock and inventory, follow all safety protocols
**About you**
Previous hydraulic hose experience and/or experience as a light vehicle mechanic, heavy diesel mechanic or fitter (with relevant qualification)
Happy to be available for on-call work (paid in addition to hourly rate)
Excellent problem-solving ability for hydraulic and related mechanical engineering problems
High level of communication skills, love dealing with clients, confident and sales-focused
Excellent operational skills and ability to self-manage your time and workflow while meeting all company objectives and standards
