Recent business growth at AgXtra has created the need for a Research Officer in Kadina. This position will support the Regional Manager and will supervise Technical Officers & casual staff. This opportunity would suit someone with a solid understanding of agronomy and a go-getter attitude.

Details

The Research Officer will provide leadership to plan, coordinate and conduct agronomic research activities. They will collate and interpret data for statistical analyses of trials using statistical software such as ARM, and preparing and writing scientific reports for clients. In your role you will represent AgXtra to staff, clients, the industry, and the broader community

You will have excellent communication and influencing skills with experience in a similar technical officer/agronomic role. A practical understanding of crop production & management with an understanding of agronomy principles across broadacre crops will be necessary. You’ll have an unencumbered driver’s licence and the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Ideally, you’ll have tertiary qualifications in agricultural science or similar.
