Due to organisational growth, we have a newly created role available for an NPD Manager to lead our NPD Team. This is a very exciting time for the business as we grow and develop our current and future customer relationships with major supermarkets.
Reporting in to the National Business Manager, this role will see you lead the NPD team to manage and deliver on all NPD projects from concept to launch, ensuring they meet customer and client expectations.
It is essential that you will be confident in your own knowledge and skills to oversee the teams projects covering both short-term and long-term briefs.
- Leading NPD concepts, development, costings, trials, launches and post reviews
- Leading Strategic Planning for Innovation Pipeline
- Keeping abreast of food market trends, new packaging formats and technologies as well as equipment to ensure competitive advantage
- Managing all functions of new product development process for the BEC Group
- Ensure all new and existing value-added products meet BEC quality standards & systems requirements
- Maintains technical expertise in sourcing and understanding ingredients

**About you**
This role will require you to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. This role would suit a passionate foodie with a solid knowledge of emerging food and flavour trends within FMCG. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NPD Manager with strong technical knowledge.
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a FMCG similar senior management role
- Highly motivated and self-driven with outstanding attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Visionary and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Private Label development & manufacture
- Strong communicator amongst cross functional teams
