**The Centre**

Guardian Childcare & Education at Guardian Manifold Heights is a spacious 109 place centre. With full onsite parking it is situated close to primary schools, parks, playgrounds as well as shops and cafes. So lots of opportunity for excursions and community engagement It is close to public transport with a number of bus stops around.

We have 5 beautiful light filled learning spaces designed to inspire curiosity, fun and a sense of belonging. In addition to dedicated art spaces and ateliers. Architecturally designed outdoor play spaces full of intrigue and adventure. You’re all set to offer an engaging and exciting environment for children.

We believe in calm, natural play spaces that reflect our home environments; this offers a thoughtful approach to education. We support children’s sense of agency enabling them to make a range of choices. Through our interactions with children, we provide unhurried, pleasurable, caring experiences.

From the infant room up to Kinder we encourage children to be active participants in all self-care activities enabling the child to have an input and value in their day. We take a strengths-based approach, we value play and the children’s interests as a vehicle for learning.

**The Opportunity**

Working closely with the Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy;
- Leading the development and implementation of the curriculum in collaborating with Educators to maximise each child’s development and learning.
- Supporting Educators to ensure that each child participates in the educational program.
- Support Educators to assess each child’s learning and development.
- Establishing clear goals and expectations for teaching and practice in collaboration with all Educators.
- Contributing to the development and ongoing implementation and review of the centres Quality Improvement Plan.

**To be considered, you will have**:

- Completed Diploma or Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA or working towards it.
- Similar experience preferred.
- Knowledge in creating and updating QIP, EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, cycle of learning.
- Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent.
- Can work full time
- Willing to be on the floor when needed
