**The Role**
The Data Sharing and Analytics Solution (DSAS) Team requires APS 6 Project Officers to join our Privacy and Communications section.

We are delivering a joint Defence/DVA DSAS as part of the Protecting Lifetime Wellbeing of ADF Personnel project, which originated in response to the 2019 Productivity Commission’s A Better Way to Support Veterans report. The DSAS will link data held by Defence and other agencies, to enable longitudinal analysis to improve health, wellbeing and safety outcomes of ADF personnel and their families across their lifetimes.

Activities may involve:

- A campaign to communicate the DSAS and privacy approach.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure implementation of DSAS supports compliance with legislation and policy.
- Investigating long term approaches to manage privacy and communications.

**About our Team**
The DSAS team sits within the Health and Wellbeing Directorate in Work Health and Safety Branch. Our Directorate examines health, wellbeing and safety factors to enhance the experience of former and current Defence personnel and families who deliver outcomes for Defence. Through programs, initiatives, services and training programs, we enable a whole-of-Defence approach to supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of APS personnel and current and former serving ADF members and their families.

The Health and Wellbeing Directorate also supports services and programs to Defence personnel to promote their health and wellbeing and in doing so to foster a positive workforce culture and enable capability. - Great organisational skills, with a proven ability to effectively plan and manage work projects to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience building and sustaining positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver complex work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop communication materials to support strategic objectives.
- Interest and ability to work effectively within a busy, high performing and geographically dispersed team.

The following attributes are highly desirable but not essential:

- Experience within the Defence community, or an understanding and appreciation of the needs of current and former serving Defence members.
- Good awareness of Commonwealth privacy legislation.
- Demonstrated applied knowledge of project management and/or communications strategies.
