**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Community Services and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting part time (0.5; 17.5 hours / week), temporary opportunity (from January 2024 - December 2024) with preferred location negotiable in our Illawarra & South Coast Region (other South Region locations will be considered; map here).

**ABOUT YOU**
You are a passionate and engaged individual who holds relevant qualifications and experience in Community Services and adult education. You have current sector knowledge and extensive experience in Community Services and are committed to maintaining industry currency. You have the gift of the gab, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals. You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability to facilitate adult learning, as well as your commitment to social justice. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:

- Degree in a Community Services related area e.g., Social Work, Community Services, Youth Work, Alcohol and Other Drugs Work, Counselling, Mental Health or relevant
- Minimum three years post-qualification experience in the Community Services industry, gained no longer than five years ago (two years ago desirable)
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent and a commitment to maintaining competency
- Commitment to maintaining and developing professional currency + VET knowledge and skills
