***The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.

This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.

**About the Position**

Team Stirling is seeking an experienced and safety conscious Conservation Field Technician for a 6 month contract, to join our Parks and Sustainability Business Unit. In this role you will contribute to providing attractive, safe and well-maintained parks, public spaces and environment for passive and active recreation that enables quality urban life while protecting and conserving the natural environment.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you’ll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:

- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management, Environmental Science or similar qualification or demonstrated field experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working with native plants and care control of natural areas.
- Considerable Experience in operating mowing equipment, hand tools and minor plant.

This temporary full-time position is a Level 5 Outside Workforce Agreement position which attract a salary from $70,970 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

**To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a**:

- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
