In this role you will lead and mentor a small skilled team responsible for assessing and determining Development Applications, Construction Certificates, Complying Developments Certificates and Building Information Certificates for all classes of buildings.

You will act as a Principal Certifier for Council, assessing and determining construction certificates and complying development certificates whilst carrying out all mandatory inspections.

Reporting to the Environment Health and Building Certification Manager, you will join an enthusiastic team focused on fast tracked approvals and providing professional services to our customers. This role is one of two Principal Building Surveyors responsible for Council's building certification work, as well as the coordination and implementation of the essential Fire Safety services program and swimming pool compliance program.

- Commencing salary range from $98,485.40 - $113,381.84 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
