**The Opportunity**
We’re looking for an **experienced Workshop Fitter/Machinist** to become a part of our team in our Workshop. Reporting to our Workshop Manager, your role will include (but not limited to):

- Performing the assembly of new plant including conveyors, mobile plant, and other material handling equipment.
- Fit bearings, gearboxes, and associated components.
- Diagnose and perform repairs and maintenance tasks on both fixed and mobile plant equipment.
- Undertake simple machining tasks on manual lathes and mills.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job training or Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience as a fitter.
- HRL Forklift (essential)
- Dogging ticket (advantageous)
- Rigging ticket (advantageous)
- Experience working in a similar workshop role.
- Work under pressure.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Safety, Health & Environment awareness, and experience.
