**The Role**

As an HSE Officer with Hybrid Systems Australia, you will oversee and coordinate the daily health, safety, and environment-related Activities on the worksite. You will be responsible for maintaining a high-level of performance and compliance with health and safety guidelines. You will interface with a multidisciplinary workforce ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to. Whilst your role may vary, you will typically be tasked with matters related to the construction of a renewable energy integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engaging in and facilitating HSE discussions including training, leading toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and other HSE initiatives
- Distribute safety notices to the site-based personnel, issued by internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare the sites safety and environmental performance statics and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and complete regular internal safety and environmental audits as required.
- Ensure the sites HSMP, and Environmental Management Plan are consistently distributed to all personnel.
- Responsible for compliance with OHS policies, procedures ensuring workplace compliance, reporting hazards and near misses
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork

**About You***
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent qualification
- Energy, mining, or resources experience in a similar position
- Effective leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across a variety of platforms with multidisciplinary personnel
- Strong understanding of legislative site-based, and client OHSE requirements
- Ability to take initiative on all HSE-related matters
