**About the Opportunity**

Due to continued expansion and growth we have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic Learning and Development Advisor to join our friendly and dynamic P & C team. The purpose of the Learning & Development Advisor role is to develop internal capability and align L&D investment to our core business needs. This role will help to ensure that our people have the right knowledge, skills and experience for high performance today, while building towards the future.

**Reporting directly to Learning and Development Consultant for Milwaukee the key responsibilities will include**:

- Support the development and execution of Milwaukee’s learning & organisational development strategy.
- Coordinate elements of internal and external training programs and events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build mutually beneficial relationships with external business partners.
- Work closely with the business to analyse and develop learning across technical competencies, leadership development and personal effectiveness.
- Consult key stakeholders to design 'fit for purpose' and innovative training solutions to address learning needs.
- Coordinate programs and events, including managing logistics in relation to enrolments, monitoring record of attendance, venues, facilitators, catering, cohort management, invoicing, and reporting.
- Communicate upcoming learning events to ensure all employees have visibility and access to opportunities available.
- Provide timely advice to managers and employees to ensure that correct training management processes are followed.
- Provide input into other OD, HR and L&D initiatives and priorities as required.

**About You**

You will ideally have a proven track record in a similar role delivering end to end L and D services and are ready for the next step in your career and looking to join an organisation which has a people first mindset You are passionate about facilitation design both online and in person, have engaging facilitation skills and love watching people grow and learn. In addition to the following skills and attributes:

- Extensive experience designing ‘fit for purpose’ learning and development solutions.
- Can offer new and innovative ideas for improvement and be creative
- Personal attributes - positive mindset, team player, exceptional attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism - approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration
- Flexibility - adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation
- A consultative approach towards managing effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Able to thrive in high pressure and fast paced environment.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be an advantage.
- A curious mindset - is keen to learn and grow.
