An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Workers Compensation Payroll Specialist to join our National Safety Team

**The Opportunity**

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely review, calculation and processing of workers compensation entitlements and payments for injured works across Ramsay.

Reporting to the VIC/SA Workers Compensation Manager and working closely within internal and external stakeholders you will hold the following responsibilities:

- Process payroll adjustment calculations of injured workers entitlements based on relevant legislation
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders, including workers and State Return to Work Coordinators to ensure legislative requirements are met
- Work collaboratively with Payroll teams to resolve any queries or issues
- Prepare regular workers compensation payroll related reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Evaluate and analyse existing procedures, provide recommendations for improvement and implement quality control measures to ensure best practice
- Provide general claims and accounts administrative support

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Experience in payroll processing or in a similar role with a workers compensation focus
- Well-developed analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft Office suite efficiently
- Ability to maintain records in a confidential manner
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience within Health Care industry is desirable
