**JOB SUMMARY**:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- General troubleshooting and problem solving to effect repairs
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with Digital and Analogue PCB assemblies
- Excellent Soldering Skills: Pin hole, Surface mount, Ball Grids Array, reflow
- Assemble and test PCB assemblies used in medical electronics incorporating thru hole and surface mount components
- Implementing product testing infrastructure in support of manufacturing
- Troubleshooting electronic component issues to root cause
- Troubleshoot and repair to the component level
- Assisting investigation of electronic components for Root Cause Failure Analysis
- Assisting product engineers with test execution and data collection
- Standard assembly techniques using soldering iron and standard hand tools a must
- Knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, digital volt meter, function generator, Safety Analyzer, Power Supply, and etc.
- Running diagnostic programs
- Excellent documentation skills
- Inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment
- Strong knowledge of electronic principles and ability to read electronic schematic diagrams
- The Repair Electronics Technician has the authority to determine the repair ability of products returned from the customers and make recommendations to the Functional Manager.
- Reporting Monthly KPI measurements and trends
- Responsible for maintaining the Microsoft CRM RMA Modules for repair department
**Location**:
AU Headquarters in Melbourne Victoria
**Education preferences**:
- 2-year College Associate Diploma in Electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- IPC -A 600, 610, 7711/772 Certification
**Other Requirements**
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to write Reports in using Microsoft Office Products: MSXCEL, MSWORD
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
