**TEAM MATERNITY CARE - ASSOCIATE NURSE UNIT MANAGER**
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Team Maternity care is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered midwife to join our collaborative model of care to provide positive leadership and role model clinical excellence. You will complement and support the strategic direction and management of care within the maternity services. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of specialties including outpatients department, birthing services unit, antenatal/postnatal ward and Mercy at Home.
- Permanent Full-time/ Part time Leadership role
- Work a rotating roster, which include weekends and night duty in birthing services unit and antenatal/postnatal floor.
- To ensure the provision and implementation of exceptional clinical service
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Motivated to being a clinical leader and positive role model within the organisation
- Proven highly developed communication skills
- Ability to work across the childbirth continuum
- Level 3 RANZCOG
- Credentialed in IV cannulation
- Motivated and passionate to support families in the provision of safe care within a continuity of care model
**ABOUT US**:
Based in Heidelberg, Victoria, Mercy Hospital for Women is a major public hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to provide complex care for obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological needs. The hospital cares for public and private patients across maternity, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative, gynaecology, and women’s health services.
Mercy Hospital for Women is a leader in research and teaching, particularly in relation to women’s and newborn’s health. The hospital has one of only four neonatal intensive care units in Melbourne and a special care nursery. Mercy Hospital for Women cares for some of Victoria’s most unwell babies and provides support for families throughout health journeys.
