**Description**:
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) is an internationally recognized research-intensive university with a growing reputation, which stands in the 190th globally in QS World University Rankings

(2023). In the meantime, it is rated a five star university by QS, one of the members of the Australian

University of Technology Alliance (ATN), and the only university institution in Australia that has been awarded the Royal Title by the British Royal Family. This position will be housed within the School of

Science, which was supported by the Australian Research Council (ARC), Federal Government’s Education

Investment Fund (EIF), Australian Renewable Energy Agency, Victorian Government’s Science Agenda, the

Science and Industry Endowment Fund (SIEF), and international industry partners. The team is a new state-of-the-art research team in the field of materials science, which has collected a number of elite researchers in materials science and energy conversion & storage and can provide world-class facilities.

**Location**: City campus, RMIT University, 124 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000.

**Salary**: $80, 000 - $120,000 (including GST), negotiable

**Selection requirements**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in research in an area relevance to chemistry, material science, photo/electro/piezocatalysis, battery, supercapacitor, nanotechnology, optics, or laser manufacturing,
- etc_.
- Priority to applicants who have current and valid work rights in Australia (e.g., Citizen, Permanent residents, 485 Visa)
- Priority to applicants who have published SCI papers as the first author or in top-tier journals.
- Hopefully applicants will start this work before the end of 2023.
