About the role

The Function Well team are looking to appoint a dedicated Marketing Specialist to continue to market the unique Function Well offering to new members and provide outstanding engagement and experiences to existing members. Working directly with the GM, Marketing Manager, business owners and external agency partners, this role will deliver the marketing strategy across all channels. A truly generalist role, the position requires a passionate, driven and innovative person who connects with the brand and with member profiles.

Your key responsibilities will include;
Become a key member of the team by forming relationships with all Department heads (Crossfit, Pilates, Group Fitness etc) to understand the unique member profiles;
Work with the GM on creating an event calendar of engaging workshops, promotions, seasonal events, guest speakers / instructors, competitions etc to engage and inspire members;
Work with the GM to create a tactical campaign plan, including channel management, delivery and optimisation, focussing on retention, engagement and lead generation;
Project manage the delivery of integrated above the line and below the line campaigns across mass media, social, content, website, paid search, Google, SEO, eDM, PR and Events (with assistance from agency partners);
Manage the development, creation and delivery of all internal and external marketing collateral; and

Assist with market research, member research and competitor analysis to identify marketing opportunities, new trends and unique member experiences.

About you

Here's what you'll need to be a right fit for this role;
A passion for fitness, wellness and leading a healthy lifestyle is paramount;
Qualifications in marketing, business, digital, communications or other relevant field;
At least 3 years' experience in marketing, with strengths in integrated, B2C campaign management (digital, social, content, campaigns, eDM etc);
Strong project management skills, systems oriented and a high attention to detail;
Autonomous and self-motivated, but also enjoys collaboration and being part of a team; and

A confident communicator with a positive attitude who can deliver quality work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
