**BACKGROUND**

Looking to join one of the global leading Commercial Real Estate firms in Australia? If so, our client is looking for an experience Finance Business Part to lead the department managing its' biggest client portfolio. You will be responsible to lead a team of Business Partners to provide insights to its client on key decision making. Presenting analytics and insights is key to this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The role of finance business partner is responsible for supporting the National Finance Manager and Account Director in delivering the client's annual operating plan.
- Annual operating plan consists of circa $400M opex spend with around 800 properties under management (large commercial offices, branches and business centres
- Key stakeholders the role will be partnering with are:
Account Director and National Finance Manager

Executive General Managers (Finance, Business Development and Occupier Services) at Cushman & Wakefield.

Client Senior Managers (Network Planning, Commercial Planning, Head of Facilities Management, Head of Environment & Sustainability).

National Managers (Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace, Accommodation & Strategy)

Manager, Finance Partner and finance analysts (client side)

National Head of Client Finance

Transaction/Lease Managers, Facilities & Minor Works Managers, Engineering Specialists and other executives

**Objectives**:

- Strong business partnering across Property, Facilities, Workplace, Technology and Procurement.
- Ability to gain client's trust and influence decisions.
- Build strong customer relationships through outstanding stakeholder engagement.
- Deliver clear and concise commercial analytics, including presentations to the client's executive team (monthly management results, annual budget and other ad-hoc reporting).
- Delivery of commercial, financial KPIs and Benchmarking analytics to the client whilst meeting high standards of service within contractual obligations.
- Encouragement and development of team members

**Accountabilities**:

- Supporting the National Finance Manager in delivering of the client's annual budget and forecasts:
Support each business stream to complete their annual budget with particular focus on transaction and lease management teams.

Bottom-up build of each individual property's cost base including rent, outgoings and Facility Mgt cost.

Identification of potential risks impacting the full year budget and development of initiatives across the portfolio.

Completion of presentations as required by National Finance Manager, primarily for real estate stakeholders but also facilities and project reporting when required.
- Ensure the timely delivery and presentation of client's monthly management report, including the following key aspects:
Timely and accurate completion of month-end journals and P&L position files.

Monitoring of Corporate performance to ensure delivery of clients financial KPI targets.

Rolling forecasts for rent and outgoings to ensure annual operating plan is on track and potential risks are mitigated and/or further opportunities identified.

Translation of data into meaningful information at Executive and operational manager level.

Identification, tracking and supporting delivery of initiatives.

Regular meetings with operational business partners to support and ensure their financial and operational KPIs are met.

Accountable for the consolidation process in completing monthly profit & loss for client in preparation for National Finance Manager approval; including accrual sign-off, prepayments and lease incentives completed by the finance team.

Review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure finance shared services complete accurately.
- Provide clear and concise commercial analytics to respective stakeholders, including general managers, account directors and operational managers.

Analytics should add value to the business and facilitate enhanced decision making.
- Ability to chair and present at client meetings in the absence of National Finance Manager, whilst responding to queries. This will form part of development plan.
- Provide commercial and financial advice to internal and external customers.
- Drive efficiency and productivity through standardization of reporting and processes.
- Encourage and develop a culture of knowledge sharing to facilitate transfer of best practice within the team and broader finance group.
- Solve complex issues and client requests and make recommendations on resolution when escalated.

Key Skills
- Strong commercial background, stakeholder engagement and exposure with senior management (GM level).
- Experienced Qualified Accountant (CPA/CIMA/CFA or CA)
- Managerial experience beneficial but not required.
- Advanced Excel Modelling Skills
- JDE knowledge, Power BI
