**Maintenance Team Leader [PFT] Warabrook**

Set amongst picturesque gardens and a host of convenient amenities, the Warabrook Centre is located in the suburb of Warabrook in Newcastle.

As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook’s trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Property Asset Manager, a diverse opportunity exists for an experienced handyperson to undertake general maintenance duties to ensure our residents’ homes are well-maintained and regulatory compliant.

You will manage/anticipate, arrange and carry out repairs as required. You will liaise with contractors, tradespersons, suppliers and volunteers as required, and ensure all contractors are inducted into the BaptistCare contractor safety program. You will ensure maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the work orders issued through the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), including both reactive and preventative tasks.

This is a great opportunity for a strong multi-tasker who likes to work quickly to achieve goals within set timeframes and within budget.

**This is a Permanent Fulltime position Monday to Friday 7:30am - 3:36 pm**

**Skills & experience needed**
- Minimum 12 months’ maintenance experience (trade qualification desirable)
- Recent experience in general maintenance within aged care would be an advantage
- Reliable with strong work ethics
- Ability & experience in leading a small team
