About the role

As a Procurement Officer, you'll provide support to Lifeblood teams, ensuring timely and efficient processing of administrative tasks including contract and purchasing administration and liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Our Procurement Officers act as a key contact between Lifeblood and its suppliers after contracts and service level agreements have been negotiated. The role also supports the operational departments that require goods and services to deliver the business. The role has a strong service focus and a strong focus on compliance, problem solving, reporting and continuous improvement.

This role will also track the performance of a large number of ICT Agreements, and maintain records to assist with budgeting and performance reporting.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
Experience in the source-to-pay process, off catalogue sourcing and spot buying

A good understanding of Blanket Purchase Agreements, Contract Purchasing Agreements, Cataloguing, receipting and other elements of requisition design and invoice receipting

Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools, including Word and Excel (pivot tables)

Familiarity and experience of an ERP Materials management system, including Master item codes, Requisition to PO creation and receipting

Previous IT purchasing experience whilst not required would be helpful.

Strong numerical, abstract, verbal communication and customer service skills

Highly organised with an ability to undertake routine work and work to standard operating procedures
