**Position Information**:
Laguna Street Public School is located in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney's south and has a student enrolment of approximately 470. Our school has a highly motivated staff, which comprises a combination of early career and experienced teachers, who value high expectations in learning with a focus on literacy and numeracy. Our school staff are committed to ongoing professional learning to support their dedication to continual improvement of teaching practice and are strongly focused on student well-being. Laguna Street facilitates a range of extra curricula activities for our students including various opportunities in performing arts and sport. **Selection Criteria**:
1. In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with the ability to lead and deliver engaging teaching and learning programs, analyse formative assessment data and use it to drive differentiated literacy and numeracy programs.

2. Proven ability to successfully lead stage teams with a commitment to foster collaboration, mentor teachers, and build positive, respectful, and productive relationships among students, staff and the school community.

3. Evidence of ability to collaboratively lead, model and implement evidence based and data driven practices that embed a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
