Payroll Officer | Payroll | North Sydney | Hybrid | WFHA global leader known for its commitment to excellence and innovation is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a temporary and hybrid basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, processing high volume payroll and working as part of a team.

Your responsibilities:
Processing payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP software on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance

Conducting detailed analysis of payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement

Supporting month-end closing activities related to payroll accounting

Maintaining comprehensive documentation of payroll transactions and ensuring compliance with regulations

Utilizing advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain complex payroll reports and models

Providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries from employees and management
Communicating effectively and working as part of a team

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2+ years of experience in payroll, preferably in a high-volume environment

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and complex formulas

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Experience with ADP preferable
