Job Summary:
The role is accountable for managing all aspects of service management services within the NSW environment. This includes: overall system performance, field operations, service delivery management, device management support, asset management, workshop, and warehouse services.

This senior leadership role will provide overall direction and oversight in the areas of performance, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, vendor management and employee development for the NSW operations business unit.

Reports to: VP Services APAC

Areas of Accountability: Field Services NSW, Asset Management NSW, Warehouse & Workshop NSW, Device Management NSW, Service Delivery NSW (Incident, Problem, Change & Configuration and Business Analysis).

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Accountable for the managed services operations to achieve company objectives and meet and exceed customer expectations and contractual obligations for region
- To be the main regional point of contact with the client for service assurance
- Accountable for the growth of managed services for the region
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through the effective delivery of services, relationship management and value based on ITIL framework adapted to a unique environment
- Evaluate overall operations and develop short and long term goals to ensure the organization meets objectives including maintaining ISO accreditation for quality, security, safety and CMMI compliance
- Establish governance, embedding the maturity of a services organistation (processes, ITIL frameworks, organisational establishment, customer engagement, service delivery)
- Create strategic roadmaps for a successful service delivery
- Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about enhancing value, service, effectiveness, and profitability
- Direct and oversee service assurance programs to ensure safety of all staff, equipment and property
- Ensure compliance with all company, customer and government/regulatory requirements
- Accountable for the departmental finances including P&L management
- Accountable for the success of local implementation of service transformation initiatives
- Accountable for organisational change management of the remit
- Accountable for KPI performance by ensuring that all KPIs are met and that a customer centric culture is miantained.
- Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing and asset levels
- Demonstrate commitment to company values and ethics

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures

Minimum Job Requirements:
**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- University degree, or equivalent education and experience with delivering operational services in a mission critical system.

Desirable:

- MBA
- ITIL certification

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

- Minimum of 10 years proven operations leadership experience managing complex systems with responsibility for delivering against a comprehensive and challenging set of commercial and performance objectives
- Minimum of 10 years senior leadership experience leading a managed services organisation ideally from the Information, Communication and Technology, Manufacturing or Logistics industries
- Extensive experience building high performing teams
- A track record of managing a successful project transition in excess of $10 million in revenue
- Extensive experience of successfully managing contractual relationships on multi-million plus multi-stakeholder, complex contracts
- Extensive experience of managing KPI based services contracts, preferably in an IT/logístical environment
- Experience with service delivery disciplines as defined under ITIL
- High level of project management skills
