Cubiko is looking for an experienced data analyst to join our team. We’re a growing startup that works with medical practices to provide business intelligence by extracting their data, analysing it, and presenting it back to them in easy-to-understand dashboards. The insights we provide help improve the operation of practices and outcomes for their patients.

As a data analyst at Cubiko, your core responsibility would be to shepherd data from various practice management and accounting tools into the hands of our customers. This involves researching the industry and source systems, transforming data to form a coherent model of the information, and communicating that data back to our customers in the form of a modern web app.

As a data analyst, we’re looking for demonstrated experience with data analytics. At Cubiko data analysts span a wide range of skills, from directly fleshing out requirements with customers to developing our app and data pipelines.

**Characteristics**

There are four key characteristics we're seeking:

- ** [numerate]** You understands maths and statistics at a deep level - how things are calculated and why. While we don’t present any sophisticated statistics in our product, fluency with data is essential.
- **[explorative]** You are able to investigate oftentimes messy data, interpret the results, find the value in the data, and figure out how to communicate this effectively.
- **[practical]** You strive to seek a balance between perfect solutions and delivering immediate value to our customers, and are able to lean in either direction depending on that nature of the project. You’re familiar with the tools used in the industry and like to feels competent with the systems you work with.
- **[curious]** You’re excited to dive in and learn new skills or technology when needed to, you see challenges as an opportunity to explore new ideas.
