About the Role
As the Information Security Manager, your role will lead the Information Management and Security function for State Trustees. You will develop and implement information security strategy as well as cyber security strategies which support policies and procedures within the organisation.
You will lead a team of professionals from the front whilst being hands on from a technical perspective particularly when it comes to cyber security monitoring, detection, response and mitigation and there will be a need for you to ensure appropriate controls, tools and automations are in place to deliver key objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Substantial knowledge, capability and experience in leading security teams.
- Intimate knowledge of industry security organisations, such as ACSC, CIS, NIST, DISA
- Extensive experience developing and implementing Cyber Security strategies.
- Experience implementing and managing VPDSS compliance
- Demonstrated experience in the establishment, implementation and ongoing maintenance of records and information management policy, strategy and procedures for both physical and electronic records
- Detailed knowledge of and experience working with legislation and standards affecting records and information management in the Victorian public sector
- Strong analytical skills, customer service focus and commercial acumen
- Well-developed relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience with project management methodologies will be highly regarded but not essential.
