**About the Role**

Are you looking for a management opportunity within a vibrant and bustling private health care setting? We are seeking a Maintenance Manager in a permanent-part time capacity at two of our Ramsay Facilities on the Sunshine Coast. The roles will be primarily located at Nambour Selangor Hospital and/or Caloundra Private Clinic, however the successful applicants may also be required to work at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital as needed.

The Maintenance Manager will undertake and manage all engineering and building maintenance activities, ensuring that all building, plant and equipment is maintained to an agreed acceptable safe and operational standard. You must be able to supervise contractors to ensure provision of an efficient and effective maintenance service which complies with legislative standards, corporate policy guidelines and approved Hospital budgets.

**About You**
- Trade qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential if you bring significant experience
- Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, preferably hospitals is desirable
- A willingness to work across trades areas within skill levels
- Demonstrated understanding of WH&S requirements
- Previous management experience is desirable An ability to negotiate with a diverse range of personnel and to manage their expectations and time-frames
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills

**Remuneration**

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from; $35.57 - $39.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
