We wish to complement our existing team with experienced HSE Advisor for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Assist with implementation of Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and strategies- Provide health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support- Undertake risk assessments of complex tasks collaboratively with internal and subcontractor delivery teams- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries- Implementation and custodian of the businesses safety management system- Conduct thorough incident investigation and facilitate the sharing of lessons learned relevant to improving safety performance- Provide governance through scheduled audits and inspections of management plans, procedures, and activity risk to ensure practices align with business, client and legislative requirements.

How you'll connect to the role:
- Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry. Utilities/Water experience desirable- ICAM lead Investigator- Current First Aid certificate- Demonstrable experience working autonomously achieving deliverables in tight time frames- Strong HSEQ Systems experience- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation- Quality / Safety Lead Internal Auditor (desirable)- WHS and Injury Management experience & thorough understanding of WHS legislation- Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership- Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
