Our work encompasses a range of services, including TV installations, antenna setups, CCTV installations, TV mounting, Wi-Fi setups, and distributed antenna system (DAS) installations.

Position: Telecommunications Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and configure TVs, antennas, CCTV systems, and Wi-Fi networks in residential settings.
- Conduct site assessments and recommend suitable telecommunication solutions for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including detailed notes and documentation.
- Adapt installation techniques to accommodate different house structures, such as steel, block, and timber.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Keep updated with the latest TV technologies, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Perform DAS installations, including running telecommunication cables and ensuring proper connectivity.
- Comply with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in TV installations, antenna setups, CCTV installations, or related telecommunication work is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in the field are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in using power tools commonly utilised in telecommunication installations.
- Knowledge of house structures and the ability to adapt installation techniques accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear and detailed notes.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and installation methods.
- Possession of an open manual driver's license with no restrictions.
- Ability to work away from home for short periods (up to a week) and willingness to work night shifts when required.
- Willingness to obtain a Power Awareness Certificate and undergo a police check.

Location: Gold Coast based for local residential work. Commercial work is throughout Queensland

**Salary**: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Power tools: 5 years (required)
- Telecommunication Installation: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)
- Construction White Card (required)
- EWP Ticket (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
