Working with this highly regarded and innovative government employer you will collaborate with the Capability Development team to continue to foster and drive organisational capability strategies.

As the **Learning and Development Specialist **you will be responsible for accelerating the design, consultation, and implementation of the Capability Development framework.

**About the Role**
You will play a pivotal role in supporting key business transformation projects across various delivery areas including Project Management and Support, Learning design and development, Service Delivery and Connection, as well as administration.

Key responsibilities
- Building out and implementing key learning governance resources
- Improving internal learning and onboarding processes
- Supporting the business on learning system changes and the business engagement within our Learning Management System (ELMO)
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate focus groups and pilots in line with project timelines to deliver key learning content
- Support the design, management, and continuous improvement of key learning infrastructure, including learning management, performance management, content management system(s), learning governance, service standards, evaluation methods and reporting.

**About You**
As an experienced** Learning and Development Specialist **you will bring demonstrated capability, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build maturity across L&D governance, frameworks and processes.

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated specialist experience, either as a Learning and Development Specialist, Capability Specialist, or equivalent specialist experience in related function (essential).
- Generalist HR experience, with knowledge of inputs and outputs of employee lifecycle
- Working in a fast-paced, agile environment across multiple projects and tasks.
- Effective Learning Management System (front/ back-end) administration (essential)
- Previous experience in learning needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs
- Creating and maintaining training content for both the virtual, e-learning and face to face training forums.
