**About the role**:
The University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) Teachers are responsible for the delivery of quality international education training and for conducting assessments within the USFP Foundation Program. The teachers are responsible for the development of innovative learning activities and assessment strategies within the Head of Department. In addition, the Teachers will assist the Academic Director and Academic Manager with program related administrative tasks.

We are looking for Foundation Teachers interested in casual work, to deliver modules to students including:

- Economics
- Accounting

Taylors College Sydney offers the University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) to prepare international students for year 1 entry at the University of Sydney.

**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Minimum of 2 - 5 years teaching experience
- Experience of teaching international students
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience of working with a learning management system. A clear understanding of the ESOS act and National Code as well as the Foundation Standards.
- Knowledge of how to communicate with second language speakers
- Work independently and collaboratively as an effective team member
- Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide audience (young people, professional leadership team, peers)
- Approachable and able to work with young adults in a non-judgmental manner
- Strong ICT skills

**Qualifications and Selection Criteria**
- Educated to post graduate degree level (preferably Masters level) in relevant field of teaching (e.g., Business)
- Qualification in teaching (Graduate Diploma etc.)
- Working with children check undertaken prior to appointment
- Current first aid certificate or willingness and ability to achieve this (for laboratory specific courses)
- Expertise in curriculum design and the use of learning technologies
- Experience in working with international students and partner organizations
