The School Support and Corporate Capability team is responsible for the delivery of quality, targeted professional development opportunities and qualification programs for school support and corporate staff across the Department of Education.

**The Project Officer plays a key role in**:

- Supporting planning and delivery of capability programs and initiatives in line with departmental objectives and timelines
- Leading program management, organisation and administration, including implementation plans, procurement activities and venue management
- Implementing program communications, cohort support and organisation, and engagement with key program partners, facilitators and stakeholders
- Preparing program reports, documentation and other written correspondence
- Evaluating programs to maximise the impact of capability development and support continuous improvement

Four (4) temporary Project Officer positions are available until the end of December 2024 unless otherwise determined within the School Support and Corporate Capability team.
The Project Officers will report to the Manager, School Support and Corporate Capability.

- Understands the vision and strategic directions of the Department of Education.
- Fosters a collaborative approach and enjoys working within a team environment across a number of programs and priorities.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Communicates with a high standard of written and oral communication skills
