**What we’re looking for**

Due to ongoing business growth, we are currently on the lookout for a Junior Storeperson to join our amazing team on a full-time permanent basis. **Your new role**

As our new Storeperson, you’ll be on your feet and involved in all general day-to-day store and warehouse operations including (but not limited to):

- Receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed
- Stock administration, including entering new stock on computer register and coding goods
- Completion of cyclic stock takes and rotating stock
- Stocking shelves ensuring the safe storage of goods
- Picking and packing orders that are due to be dispatched to customers
- Ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time, undamaged, and obtaining signatures as proof of delivery
- Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Some order processing, invoicing, and inventory control.
- Ad-hoc duties around the branch as required, including counter sales.
- Understanding and observing standard safety and security precautions

This is a full-time permanent role based in **Forrestdale, Perth**

Centre hours are Monday to Friday 6.30am - 4.30pm (38 hour week -2 shifts).

**What you’ll need to succeed**

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, so your ability to use common sense and work well in a team must be second to none. To be successful in this role, you will:

- Ideally have previously worked in a similar warehousing environment - Bunnings/Woolworths/Coles etc.
- Have strong computer literacy skills.
- Be excellent at managing your own time and a real ‘self-starter’; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
- Be more than happy to move around on your feet all day - this role can be physically demanding at times and requires someone fit with a “can-do” attitude
- Work well in a team - we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset and maintain a positive working environment is non-negotiable.
- Hardworking and motivated to learn and grow within a company.
- High attention to detail, you notice mistakes and errors quickly.
- Have a current driver’s license, forklift licence is desirable.
- **Have full Australian working rights as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.**
