**About the role**
As Resource Recovery Employee (Driver) you will be part of the Ipswich Waste Services team based at our Esk depot in the Somerset Regional Council area. Responsibilities include the efficient collection, recovery and disposal of domestic, commercial, and other waste that is collected via Council’s domestic and commercial waste services.

Some of your key responsibilities will the operation of vehicles, plant and / or equipment to provide:

- Collection, recovery, re-use and/or recycling of resources
- Collection and disposal of waste

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Have a HR Class licence or higher (or ability to obtain*)
- Pride yourself on your safe driving skills
- Be passionate about a clean and sustainable Ipswich for the future
- Council will consider providing training to obtain a HR licence. To be eligible for a HR Class Licence, you must have held an open or provisional class C licence for 24 months OR an open or provisional light rig (LR) or medium rig (MR) licence for 12 months.

A pre-employment medical is required for this position - Including Drug and Alcohol testing

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at Grade A commencing at $67,563 plus superannuation of up to 12%.

**Salary**: $67,563.00 per year
